The Perfect Season
In the center of this frame is a booklet called 'The Perfect Season' It is a 16 page booklet which was inserted in 1972 in the Miami Herald. I was in 7th grade then & living in Satellite Beach Florida & was a paperboy for the Herald. The booklet has exact copies of the actual articles written for that weeks sports page as the Dolphins became the 1st team in NFL history to go undefeated all the way through the Super Bowl. No team has done so since. A good friend from High School was in my office & saw the booklet sitting on my bookshelf & said I should protect it. So he took it & found player cards of (starting center top & going clockwise) Coach Don Shula, Earl Morrall, Garo Yepremain, Larry Csonka, Parl Warfield, Mercury Morris, & Bob Griese. Then he matted & framed it & it now proudly hangs over my desk.
